Our family of patent pending anion conducting polymers based on functionalized polynorbornenes have been used in fuel cells and electrolyzers. The polymers are based on high glass transition temperature poly(norbornene) copolymers. Hydroxide conductivity at 80ºC is >200 mS/cm. The polymers are durable at high pH with <1% conductivity loss in KOH at 80ºC after >1200 hr.
